From Constantine: “My name is Constantine Lykiard, formally trained as interior and furniture designer, now concentrating on self generating photographic projects. My work is varied. Street photography, some documentary work and art nudes. My unifying theme across all aspects of my work is Everydayness. In Faces, Nudes, Street, Things. In love with most things Indian, Interested in all bodies, shapes and sizes, skin colours and hues, in all states of undress, but always in pursuit of taking the right picture. Looking for everyday women who wish to celebrate their figure without fear or judgement. All Bodies Matter.
“This selection is part of an ongoing project called A Girl I Once Knew. The aim is to capture intimacy. It was inspired by a song I heard by that title, as I was developing ideas for projects. The shoots are informal, not staged, and rely on flowy improvisations. I hope the end result will be a collection of images of friends and models at a variety of intimate moments.”
