A dystopian story is told of one of the last humans on earth who has found refuge in a ruin. The dark and moody images convey a wistful girl who has become more primal as social constructs have fallen around her. The soft, flowing fabric of the few items she still possesses, allows the viewer to imagine the girl in a previous life. As a last survivor, she is far from vulnerable. Her bruised body indicates pain has been endured, but survived nonetheless. Each bruise tells a story of hardship, yet the fading of them says more than just suffering.
